Settlers Beach is a 30min drive North of Karratha. It works best in winter on a North/North East or North Easterly wind.

Settlers Beach has a large tidal range, if you kite there on a medium tide you can find some beautiful flat lagoons,  at low tide there is a walk out to the water but once you get there you will have a flat water kite spot to yourself. On a high outgoing tide there are some small waves that form around the point.

It's a deep water spot a high tide and a shallow water spot at low tide.

If you are up for a walk or have a reliable 4WD you will find a flat water river mouth down the beach.
